I HAVE A HOLD ON THE WORLD

The world doesn't spin
in perfect order.
There are times
it tries to shake me off
but I hang on
with all my might

and afterwards declare
insane with pride...

"I made it, one more time
God bless my soul

and I bless thee!"

  11. Lovely! Without the existence of the individual "I", the earth loses its charm.

"Insane with pride" was awesome, but the last two lines were even more amazing.

  18. Sometimes I don't have the energy to hang on anymore, so I give up. Funny thing happens then... I not only still wake up on Earth, but I feel a little lighter too.
