MY PLACES

I go to cry in a lonely place
Where a moon hangs in the trees
And weeps all night its tear-drop stars
Brushed by a mournful breeze!

I go to laugh in a joyful, busy place
My face warmed by the sun
And happy birdsongs filter through
The treetops, one by one!
