NO CHARGE

Across the Bridge to Dreamland
you can ride upon a star ...
as you sail above the pine trees ...
to a land that's very far.
From the little weedy troubles ...
in the gardens of today ...
for in Dreamland, you buy roses ...
but you never have to pay!

  1. If I never have to pay for flowers
Search for a Hallmark card for hours
Ride upon a star to spy
On a girl that seemed to catch my eye,
Then life would be pretty nice
As high as pine trees through the nights
On Valentine's Day, I'll expect no charge
For the roses that are long stemmed and very large...

    I've become such a man!
    ha!

    (JUST KIDDING!)

Loved your poem. Had to give ya one of Deb's amateur poetry goodies....
