Your intellect
could clip the substance
of my words
in half
finish off the circle
that I thought was square
find the answer
where I didn't look
reduce my mind
to jelly made of tears
Instead ...
you make my shadows
into shapes
my words to phrases
full of thought
my tongue turns readily to wit
until I wonder
where my substance hid
'til I met you.

Margie--I'm late here, sorry!
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER....I'll just continually be in awe of one who expresses that love coming from her heart, that giving and receiving, of which I imagine are God-like.
Never a hint of pride comes through your writings. Rather, your spirituality spreads a calmness over whoever reads these lines. You (seems to me) effortlessly write your heart--and thereby nourish others.
Thank you!
...and OH! The photo. OUTSTANDING shot.
