Meander along a path through the woodsand listen to nature . . . the handiwork of God . . .
Hear the birds singing in the trees . . .
try to find the way where the deer have trod. . .
Harken to waterfalls roaring over rocks
and the gurgling of the little streams . . .
Find a big lichen-coverd rock or log
where you can sit and pleasantly dream . . .
Your worries will melt and fade away
Your heart and mind will be quietly at ease . . .
because nature's sweet solitude . . .
is restful, calming and full of peace!
this is beautiful, margie. love the photo too!
ReplyDeletei resort to the nature as often as i can...
Such colorful language in this beautiful poem Margie. It makes me remember that I really would like to get out and hike in nature. Thanks for the good feeling and reminder.

God's handiwork always brings us peace and calm. It's a shame that many ppl dun realise that and seek peace and calm through chaotic ways.
