TO MY HUSBAND

I find, as the day pulls to a close
And I sit and ponder this wondrous life
That the softness I feel
Has a power that is real ...
And there's something that makes me kneel

To contentedly sit in wamth and peace
As a rest eternal will never cease!"

I find, as the day its end draws near
And I sit contented will a full heart
That contentment I know
Is real and must show ...
And I know that from this the blessings flow

To be able to know what makes me calm
Like the soothing of music, a magic balm!"

I find, as the hours close in the day
As I know and am glad I have no strife
That the one that is near
Is the one that is DEAR! ...
And I look for you, who will appear
And I say, "Dear God, how glad I am
To be blessed to have loved one such as he
And to be blessed to have him be in love with me!"
