MY POOR FRIEND FRED

Ouch! sore head
want to stay in bed

Feeling kind of blue
know just what to do

Call Fred
oh no!
it can't be so
his wife says he's dead!

First... head was
aching
now
heart
is breaking!

Hate monday morning blues
don't you?

Now must get
out of bed
for
poor dear
Fred.

Flowers
are
on the
way
right
away.

Oh dear
Fred
dang it!
you are
dead
and not
the reason
I wanted
to get
out of bed!

Rest in peace Fred!
oh.... by the way.... there is no Fred. I was trying to be like Ogden Nash. Ha!
