A tiny acorn makes a tree
A seed becomes a flower . . .
And minutes linked together
Make up every hour.
Stones pile up into mountains
Grains of sand make up the beach . . .
Trees together make a forest
So nature does her lesson teach.
All of life, when segregated
may seem meaningless and small . . .
but as a part of God's great universe
there's purpose there for all!
yuppp .. and that's yet another proof that God is miraculous .. because does one wonder how a small seed can create such a majestic tree? ..
ReplyDeleteLoved the second verse ..
so nature does her lessons teach :) ..
the beauty beheld so grand in each.

ReplyDelete"All of life, when segregated

Purpose, is finding the common link... what do you think?

ReplyDeleteThere's purpose even in that grain of sand that gets washed ashore only to be dragged back again.
Happy New Year Margie.
there sure is! And I often wonder what my purpose is. Im sure my life right now doesn't demonstrate it. I need to find my purpose.
ReplyDeleteKeshi.
What truth; I love the poem. From small things are great things, and everything is connected to a greater Source. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Margie. I have been reading the near death accounts at http://www.nderf.org/ (having had a near death experience myself when I was young). Reading them makes me wonder whether we are each, in fact, individual aspects of God that return to merge with the greater whole at the time of death (although we are probably never really separated). Something to meditate upon . . .
ReplyDeleteLoved it!!so very True n beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFrom seconds in a day to a life compiled. Excellent Margie!!
