Are you restless? Go to the hills. . .
The path winds up to the blue
where the wind will blow until it stills. . .
all doubts in the heart of you.
Are you tired? Then seek the trees . . .
The pines will whisper and sing
and a weary soul can find its ease . . .
in the peace their song will bring.
Are you happy? Then stay where you are . . .
And let your joy shine through
so all who come from near and far . . .
may share, and be happy too!
That was well said Margie. I do the same...:).
ReplyDeleteHope your New Year eve was great.

ReplyDeletebut there are no hills close to my place where I can go when I'm restless...
And the trees look so weary and dead as if they are dying of thirst
but I am happy!!! VERY HAPPY !!
and that counts for everything right???
Beautiful poetry, Margie.
ReplyDeleteBeing with nature always makes me feel at peace. Just gazing at a tree brings a sense of relief, and that is because God's creation like plants know how to live in peace without harming anything, and human beings need to learn from them.
ReplyDeleteAre you happy? Then stay where you are . . .
ReplyDeleteAnd let your joy shine through
so all who come from near and far . . .
may share, and be happy too!
Wow! Awesome!!
May I come to u? U r so full of optimism!
