Adopt a Pet ~

I saved a life
of one small golden furred friend
and been repaid
a thousand times
by loving eyes
soft paws
and warmth across
my feet at night ~
I saved his life
but as I stroke
beneath his chin
and hear the motor
of his love
beneath my hand
all worries slip
beneath his fur
and disappear ~

-------------------------------------
Jake , you are so loved ~

  12. Such a beautiful poem, and I so recognize the feeling of love and connection with a pet. My Sadie hears all my secrets, and seems to know when I am down. She is my shadow, and my friend. Will be keeping you in my prayers, and may things go extraordinarily well on Thursday.

Jake too knows all my secrets ....LOL

All went well today, I had a great Dr. and wonderful nurses.
A polyp was found on my colon and I am hoping it is benign, I will know in about 2 to 3 weeks.
I also found out I have diverticulosis , that can be managed.
      Thanks for the prayers.
