WEALTH

What can wealth give that I have not?
The air I breathe, the heavens blue
The sunshine bright, the stars at night
Three meals a day and health anew
Loyal friends and neighbors true
The joy to live, to work, to roam
A place to rest and call it home
What need I more that wealth can give
When life is love and love is to live!

How very beautiful and to take into consideration once more. Our Wealth starts with our health. Yes, Lovely Woman!

  3. HI MARGIE-

I have missed you and was thrilled when you visited just a little bit ago. And wealth? By most standards we are 'dirt poor' and "love-rich" :-)

    Love to you

  7. Hello Margie,
I'm glad your back. I am still on break.
Your so right, love and happiness is so much more important than wealth. If your not loved,or you can't love, than no amount of monetery wealth can make one happy.
    Have a nice evening,
    Lydia

  8. MARGIE!!! Oh, I'm glad, ya know??? And this post, my thinking exactly, all the way to the last word. In fact, it IS "the last word"!!!

  9. Money does not make the world go round as some people claim. Money isn't everything. Having a lot of money is not a guarantee to be happy or even content. I like that your poem reminds me of the many blessings that are a gift, free of charge and bring such happiness.

    must be funny
    in a rich man's world ---

This is the time when money buys you anything -- and all of those said Margie :)

Sorry, i get cynical sometimes; but don't this world call for it??

anyway, loved your poem -- counting our blessings takes us through :)

  33. Lovely way to live...I feel the same way. When I think that I am loved...by God and my husband and my daughter and so many others...what more do I need in this world? Beautifully expressed. :)

  34. Margie, wish more of us would see that wealth can be measured in so many ways other than money. Me? I know that I can stand in a room with 600000 women and none are more beloved by their husbands than I. Now . . . that's wealth!!!!
