~ Poetry From My Heart To Yours ~
My sentiments dear Margie - taking a few days "off" as I atttempt to express with the brush what you so succintly put into words...the delicacy of love...Big hugnite-nite
PS.: Thanks for the call, always enjoy talking with you dear friend.Hope all went well "on the ice" today. We took "the worst spot" higlight in the news for last night's storm... there's got to be some sunshine coming soon
Your words are always so thought-provoking. So simple and yet so profound in their beauty.
I feel uplifted already, Margie! :-)
Love is such a delicate thingFrail fabric of a butterfly’s wingYet seen I haveDragged thru mudTreated real badUsed as a hammerUsed as a toolMade a geniusLook like a foolI've seen it get stepped onI've seen it all but goneBut at the end of the dayIt is still there I must sayResilient as anything I've seenResiding everywhere I've beenSo though it may breakAnd it may shatterIt is always thereAnd that's what really mattersI love coming here and being reminded of such thingsThank you.
It can be easily bruised and tarnished if we're not careful.
awww i love this one margie:-]
YEs, YeS, YES this is what love is.
This is excellent, Margie! You're on a roll! Keep them coming. :)
Keshi needs to hear this right now Margie!:))
"...too heavy a hand . . .and it loses its gleam . . ."This is so true! Once love gets too strong, it loses its appeal in some way. They say that if you really love someone or something, to let it go; let it be free. To have too much control is the same as smothering someone...or something. Beautifully written!!!
