STORMS

I'd like to take my grief
the way a tree
bends to the
storms that beat it. . .

To see it as a part
of life . . .
and , by accepting it,
defeat it!

  2. Beautiful thoughts, Margie. To use the healing words of the ancients: "This too, will pass".

  5. Grief is what lets us feel alive. To care, to bend to emotion and realize that some things are more important than possessions.

  8. I'm sorry if you're grieving... sadly it is something very few will never know and most of us do. All we can hope and pray that G-d gives us the strength to cope.

Grief is like another layer, another part of us that we wear, it's never beaten, it's always there; some days are better than others.

I wish you well and hope the holidays were joyous to you and yours

    lotsa luv ann xxxxxx

  20. Hi Margie
    The tree gets uprooted.
    Sometimes pride hurts.
its the blade of grass which bends.

lots of love and hugs Margie

  21. Grass gets trampled
    as trees blow down
    only the rock remains steadfast.

    Did enjoy the piece though.
    Very Good.

  26. i think trees carry a lot of wisdom we can learn from...yes i hope that i could take all of lifes storms just like that...

and yes, a true story...they were at a lack of male dancers so they roped 3 of us boyfriends into dancing...so i have 6 college credits in dance and danced in the nutcracker on the college stage with my wife...smiles.
