~ Poetry From My Heart To Yours ~
Haha!! good for you! I will join you in that thought!Right now, I am watching white and light snow falling like fluffy cotton! I am grateful for life and health! :)
Beautiful! Who wants to grow old gracefully? I want to enjoy every moment and keep my young heart. Let's do it together, my friend.
My blog post today (if I remember--old, ya know--grin!) is written along the same notions. To stay young-at-heart takes very little effort, for me. It is more about ATTITUDE! Peace, love, serenity, with maybe a sprinkle of that elusive characteristic humility stirred in, will make a nice, long-lasting pot of youthfulness.GOOD post!!!!
Growing old is just a matter of perspective, and I perceive to be young at heart forever.....so happy for you Margie, love that all appears to have worked out...Ah life is good......:-) Hugs
I don't think any of us wants to feel old, even if the number of years on this earth say differently! As for you, young lady, I do not see you ever ever being old!!
Age gives us something unique. i.e WISDOMLove ya!
I like that. I think no matter how old we get, we are always young at heart as a child.
Made me smile.I feel that way,I am going to stay as young at heart as I possibly can.
Hello Margie, This is a great poem for all women!Thank you for sharing. I love the pick too!Lydia
Margie - I swear you are getting better and better with each post! And I'm not a huge fan of rhyming poetry but you manage to put work together that just makes me so happy :)
Your poem gave me chills, Margie. My feelings completely, as I near 65.
Margie: I love the defiance and determination of this post. Both are important to survive and thrive! :)

Live life to the fullest and yes I will not want to grow old too :D
I shall not trillI will not singUnless ye bring sweet daffodil;Though most be yellowSome are notBut that’s not whatI used to thought.
I loved the spirit here...great going Margie.Have a good time always.Hugs .
It's great luck and honor to reach old age, so we should respect it and not try to be what we are not.
Beautiful Margie! Young at heart at all times. I agree with this lovely sentiment. The silver age has so much grace and as we all well know, heart and soul within a body never change. Never age..;))Have a lovely day dear Margie, full with sunshine!xoxoZuzana
I like your VISION statement Margie, though this is not the heart which speaks, but rather the logic!
Good morning to all of you special that came by to read and leave a comment on my poem!I thank you so much!So busy here this morning as I'm getting ready to go on a little trip tomorrow (going to the mountains to meet some friends and do some cross country skiing, be back home on Sunday) and have no time to reply to each of you personally.Take good care and I wish all of you joy!Margie :)xo
A cry from the heart and spirit, it's stunning Margie :)I read in a very spiritual book, that this nature and beauty we have here and aroma as well are but mere shadows of Heaven's True Beauty...I can't wait! We'll compare notes, I wonder If God will allow me to take a photo as I enter the tunnel, might be a bit of a challenge..;)
It is best not to think about aging.I do not feel worse now than 40 or 50 years ago.Every age has its own charm and wisdom. We will not grow old...how beautiful life isand your words are truewe never will.young hugss
