INNOCENCE OF CHILDHOOD (To my beloved children!)

She toddles through the lush green grass
Upon her tippy toes
And falls upon her padded bottom
She giggles as she goes ...
A daisy chain begins to grow
Upon the field of green
She picks the daisies with her toes
And drops them in the stream ...
She tilts her head to gaze upon
A sky of azure blue
And dreams of dreams within the clouds
As only children do.

There is no greater love above that of a mother for her children, except that love of God for all HIS children

These beautiful words from your heart
will bring a smile to the face of all who read this, as it does mine.

  14. I imagine you write lots of poems to your children on birthdays and achievement days. Lucky them!

This little poem is great!! I so like the descriptive terms: "tippy toes", "padded bottom", 'lush green grass", and the innocent girl's deeds: she toddles, falls, giggles, picks and drops daisies, tilts her head to gaze at the sky, dreams..
