I MAY ALWAYS

I may always have
Tomorrow to walk
In the rain but I would
Rather do it now.

I may always have
Tomorrow to sit
On a rock and look
At the rushing water
Of a mountain stream
But I would rather
Do it now.

I may always have
Tomorrow to watch
A crackling fire in
The fireplace but
I would rather do it now.

I may always have
Tomorrow to say
"I love you" but
I would rather
Tell you now!

  15. It is important to say I love you today, as tomorrow may never come. I learned that lesson when a dear friend passed away, we may not always have tomorrow. Your poem is an important reminder of that " if tomorrow never comes"

A poet speaks through the heart, very lovely.

  21. There is no need for you to visit my blog, but (since we are co-awardees, re Dulce) I could not resist visiting and to let you know I think you write lovely, meaningful words.

The topic has to do with my great character defect, Procrastination.

    PEACE!
