I don't suppose that anything I writeWill shake the world or change it overnight ...
But then that's true for most of us, it seems ...
We think great thoughts and cherish noble dreams ...
Of how to overcome all want and strife ...
And wish for everyone a good life ...
However, it could be that in these few lines ...
There might be here and there some pleasant signs ...
That life reflects our efforts and intent ...
In love and tears and awe and wonderment ...
But usually I'd think it quite worthwhile ...
If words of mine would bring a smile ...
Or even now and then have someone see ...
The wonderment of life - along with me.

aww who very true! Margie I dunno abt others, but ur words/poems/posts/comments/emails/msgs do make a huge impact on me. They tell me that there's someone so passionate abt love n life out there...there is indeed something called TRUE friend in this world...and that there's true purpose behind some ppl's lives and that purpose is to make others smile...and thats ppl like u!

This alongwith Christian belief was something i was introduced very early in life...and i think its words that basically influenced human life...for good or bad...
we writers who are also readers will possibly agree there...as your poem says towards the end...love it, Margie :)

Always I write and say "Peace, and Love", but I feel these words are never given a thought. So it is true, I, nor you, can change the world. But certainly your PART of it you change.
