WHEN PROBLEMS ARISE

When problems arise, as they sometimes will...
Be a force for good and not for ill...
Calm yourself and use your head...
Don't tear down... Build up instead.

No matter how bleak, try not to
discourage...
But give those who seek a share of your
courage...
Don't divide or try to place
blame...
Far better... Unite for the purpose you
came.

Light one little candle to dispel the night...
Dawn will come soon... and all will be right...
So, when problems arise as they
sometimes will...
Be a force for good... and not for ill.

  1. I like that. It is all about working out problems together.

  2. This is really very good. So encouraging and supportive. Good stuff. You write a lot of poetry, huh? Do you ever submit for publication?

This is so true. It's so difficult to "be the strong one" in each situation when faced with adversity. This poem can reach out to just about everyone. Thanks for sharing.
